Some changes are being made

Bob Morris who formerly liv-
ed on the Gilbert place, has rent
ed.the grandma Hendrix place
and moved to it. Mi>, Cooper,
who lives on the Hendrix place

right away,
G. A. Myhan is having a nice
little residence put up, W. L,
Osborne having the contract to
put it up for him.
Mr. C. P. Maupin lias lumber
on the ground to build him a
nice residence.
W. H. Frasier's new house
adds greatly to the looks of these
diggings.
A. M. Geptery has sold his
farm and ranch to Mr. Ed Ma-
ban. Mr. Gentery will move to
Wheeler County, Texas, soon.
Mrs. A. C. Uayett has been
visiting her son in Looney the
past week.
From the looks of I he wngons
passing from the Indian Terri-
tory to Mexico, one might think
that the Indian Territory was
about deserter! and Mexico will
soon be full up.
Our school at Liberty is grind-
ing right along now.

Sheriff Davis of Custer county
Oklahoma, came over yesterday
after his man Shires, who stole
his liorse and saddle, but the
man refused to go and requisi-
tion papers will have to be issued
by the governor before he can be
moved. In giving his reasonsi
for not wanting to go Shires said
he "would rather stay in jail in
Texas than to be free in Okla-
