ANNOUNCEMENT. This Piano and Popu-
lar Voting Contest will be conducted on the
strictest business principles, bearing in mind that
every candidate and contestant must be treated
with equal fairness and honesty.
THK PRIZES. The first prize will be a fine
Ellington Piano, worth $400.00; the second prize
will be " e choice of a fine gold watch and chain
or a bea.itiful diamond ring, valued at $50.00each;
and the third prize will be the watch or the ring,
after the winner of the second prize has made
her selection. These prizes will be on exhibition
at the Mirror iffice 30 days from this date.
CL ASSES OF VOTES. The votes are issued
in coupons f the following denominations;
New subscribers, blocks of 5, 2500 votes for $5.00
Yearly paym'ts, blocks of 5, 2000 votes for $5.00
Single new subscribers, 500 votes for $1.00
Single yearly paym'ts, 400 votes for $1.00
The full amount of regular subscription price
($1.00 a year) for the Mirtor must accompany all
remittances to insure the regular number of votes
contestants are entitled to.
Votes once deposited in the ballot box cannot
be transferred to another.
No contestant will be allowed to take more than
one of the Extra Special Prizes that we may offer
from time to time.
The publishers will not tell whom anyone votes
for, except in case of error or alleged irregularity.
Make up your mind for whom you want to vote
before coming to this office, as the publishers will
positively not decide the matter for you.
The standing of each candidate or contestant
will be published every two weeks.
An awarding committee composed of three hon-
orable, disinterested parties will be chosen before
close of contest to make final count from locked
ballot box and distribute prizes.

themselves or their favorite in the contest.

fered or have a favorite in the field, come in and
get lists of subscribers who owe on subscription
at your postoffice. You want the votes and we
need the money.
HOW TO BOOST YOUR FAVORITE! Get
ip a club of FIVE NEW SUBSCRIBERS and
send names and addresses, accompanied by the
cash, to this office and vote a 2500-COUPON for
your favorite candidate.
A SUGGESTION! To subscribers who are
reading the Mirror, but have not paid their sub-
scription. A club of FIVE NAME^. accompani-
ed by the CASH, votes a 2000-COUPON for your
choice of candidates.
