Mr. Gibson was born in the
year 1878, near Bonham, Fannin
County, Texas, where he lived
until twelve years of age when
he moved, with his parents, to
Montague County, Texas, where
the family resided two years,
and thence came to old Greer
hired salesman at Quanah. rI.!X.,
Hollis and Kelly and afterwards
in the general mercantile busi-
ness at Dryden, in which voca-
tion he is now employed in Gib-
son with A. M. Ross as partner.
Mr. Gibson is a Gibson gentle-
man, of upright principles, a
strict abstainer from intoxicants,
thoroughly conscientious in all
dealings with his fellow man.
and since it was at the petitioned
request of a large number of his
friends that he should enter this
race, he wishes to state that he
is deeply appreciative of this
starting movement for nim, and
that he is looking to these and
his many other friends to aid
him on to the successful end.
