home at Lincoln, Nebraska, after
a pleasant sojourn at this place.

Miss Lettie Tennison left the lat-
ter part of last week for Dwight
Institute, at Marble City, where
see will attend school.
Horace Allen, Ralph Davis and
Dow Andrews departed Tuesday
for Marble City. They will attend
school at Dwight Institute.
G. K. Foreman, }. H. McCarty,
Austin Kittrell Win. Skelton and
Win. Harper represented Foyil at
the Couaty-seat Saturday.
George Weleh is now a full fledg-
ed Foyilian, he and his family hav-
ing moved into the house recently
vacated by the Scheldtknicht's.
Rev. S. G. Brown came up from
Claremore and spent several days at
tom*.; He has been building a
kouseia Claremore and has it al-
most completed.
Several of the Foyil people at-
tended a social dance at tbe home
of Chas. Richardson, on the John
Smith farm, Monday evening. A
pleasant time is reported.

penter and stone mason came up
from Claremore the first of the
week and has been doing some
finishing work for H. G. Allen,

a strenuous campaign against the
sale of "near-beer" and all malt
liquors, and is bresking hundreds
of bottles of this contraband booze.
Jut why the Government will is-
sue license for the sale of such
goods end then send sn officer to
destroy the aforesaid goods is more
than we can camprehend. It ap-
pears thst we have heard a proverb
about consistency being a jewel, or
a lump of alum, or something like
that.
