We hope for her recovery.
Karly sowed oats is making
promising appearance. Many
potatoes were planted and much
garden made last week.

One day last week, Raymond
Neely, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bing
Neely, became suddenly very
sick while eating some candy
The symptoms indicated poison.
A doctor was called immediately
and the boy is able to be around
again.
A good many farmers, ye scribe
included, hauled oats from Geary,
last week both seed and feed.
The oats cost $1.03 a bushel
which is sure going some and is
the highest we have ever known
the farmers to have to pay.
Since the oats crop is ao uncer-
tain in this part of Oklahoma,
many farmers hesitated to sow
such high priced seed.
