Miss Nettie Runyon was reporttd

Mrs. B W. Freer was reported
en the sick list this week.
Will Slopey was assisting Agent
Riley at the depot this week.
Mrs. Lotia Roberts was among
the lady shoppers on the 9th.
George Bible came in from his
Rocky Ridge home on the 9th.
Charley Freer entertained a Mr.
Pride of Kentucky this week.
Harve Bartmess and family have
gone to Kansas to visit relatives.
Mrs. Lee McCartney was among
the lady shoppers on the 8th.
Will Yeoman is over from Chel-
sea assisting his unci# on the farm.
The Misses Dye who reside near
Chelsea, drove over to attend the
picifie.
T. Ev Anders, of Thayer, Kan
sas, was looking after his interest
in the drilling rig.
Lem Carmicheal was. up from
Claremore meeting his old friends
and acquaintances.
Will Yeoman was in from Rocky
Ridge on the 9th. S. C. Dorland
accompanied him home.
Miss Emma Linton and mother
arrived in Talala and expect to
make an extended visit with rela-
tives.
Sirn Dorland came in from Nor-
man, Oklahoma to spend a week's
visit with ©Id friends and acquaint-
ances.
Fred Palmer, of Oolajrah, was in
our town on the 8th having his
buggy which was damaged in a

son of W. L Shimp" died Sunday,
August 6th at the home of I.J.

arranged for a popular rate excur-
sion from Fort Smith, Lenapah and

August 12th, stopping at all sta-
