RESOLUTION
Whereas, Our Supreme Kuler has
seen fit in his wisdom to take froru
us one of our most beloved and faith-
ful co-workers, Karle U. Bayless, who
has labored well with u« in the un-
dertakings of this club; and
Whereas, His associations with thi<i
organization will bo very sadly miss-
ed and the loss of his untiring effort
and energy in the support of this or-
ganization and the upbuilding of this
community will be keenly felt, and
Whereas, His high ideals of life
coupled with a b'ameless character,
his friendship for all, and his sunny
disposition set an example for all to
follow. Therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Commercial Club
of the City of Claremore, Oklahoma,
that we extend to the be'oved ones of
the deceased our deepest sympathies
and most profound sorrow in the loss
which has come to them in the transi-
tion of our dear one; and, be it fur-
ther
Resolved, That we shall ever cher-
ish and hallow his memory and strive
to fill his place and profit by the
splendid example set by his life. Be
it further
Resolved, That these Resolutions be
spread upon the minutes of this or-
ganization and that a copy be furn-
ished to the mother of our beloved
associate.
Adopted this the 9th day of Janu-

RESOLUTION
Whereas, It has pleased Almighty
God, the God of our battles and the
God of our peace to call unto himself
our soldier friend. Lieutenant Com-
mander John Moore Kates, who so
willingly and glad'y offered and gave
his life upon the alter of service to
his country; and
Whereas, Mis life among ub was
always faithful, helpful and honest,
showing in his private life the same
high characteristics that marked him
as a soldier and in fil'ing so well his
place in citizenship, in church circles
and in duty to his nation; Therefore,

Resolved, By the Commercial Club
of Claremore, Oklahoma, that this or-
ganization commend the example of
his life to all, and we express our
sincerest regrets of theseemingly un-
timely closing of such a faithful ser-
vice as has been rendered by our de-
ceased friend, John Moore Kates. Be
it further
Resolved, That this organization
extend to the beloved ones of the de-
ceased our heartfelt sympathy in the
loss of their dear one from the family
circle. Be it further
Resolved, That these Resolutions
be spread upon the minutes of this
organization and that a copy be furn-

OF REAL ESTATE

In the County Court.
No. 1490 Probate.
In the matter of the (Guardianship of Robert
Drake Taylor, a minor; Emma L. Taylor,
guardian.
Km ma L. Taylor, as the guardian of Robert
Drake Taylor, a minor, having this day filed
and presented in this court, her petition for
authority to sell the lands of the naid minor,
and the court having considered the same, it
appears to the court that if the facts, state-
ment* and allegations et forth in said peti-
tion are true, that it is neeessary and would
be for the manifest best interest of the minor,
that the lands therein described be gold, for
the puriHise of creating funds with which to
maintain, educate, and support the minor.
It is therefore ordered that the next of
kin of said ward and all persons interested
in his estate appear befote this court on
Friday, the 7th day of February, 1919, at
11:80 o'clock, a. m., or as soon thereafter as
the same can be heard by the court In the
court room of the Rogers County Court, in
the Court house in Claremore, Oklahoma,
then and there to show cause, if any they
have, why an order and deeree of sale should
not he granted for the lands of said ward.
It is further ordered that a copy of this
order he published for at least two successive
weeks before the day set for hearing in the
