Tho Methodists are making consider-
able preparations for their Christmas
tree in their new church ou Christmas
eve. A short programme consisting of
singing, recitations and readings will
be given the fore jiart of the evening,
after which a liberal allowance of cam) v
will be distributed to all the children
present in addition to the presents
placed on the tree by friends. In this
connection we are requested to an-
nounce that all those wishing to put
presents on the tree for friends or their
children will bring them to the church
on Monday, where they will be well
