•SEC. 4. The Town Marshal sfoill
have power, by and with the advice and
consent of the town council, to appoint
such assistants or deputies as be tuay

Sec. Ii. The Town Marshal shall re-
ceive for his services in executing the
process of the Mayor the same fees a

receive in addition to such fees a salary
not to exceed forty dollar* (.$40) per
mouth, to be paid ont of any funds in
the hands of tbe town treasurer not
otherwise appropriated.
SEC. 6. The Town Marshal shall at
tend all meetings of the council and
shall execute nil orders and serve all
notices which iu*y be necessary to be
executed or served, wlmi directed to do
so by the Mayor.
Sec 7. The Marshal shall have power
at all times, when lu his judgment it is
necessary, to summon any person or
persons to assist him in milking ar-
rests, or suppressing riots or disturb-
ances of tile peace.
Sec. S. That the Town Marshal shall
make no itemized report of the fee* and
emolument# received by him as Mar-
ihnl, fo the town council once every
three months, same to be approved by
the town conucil.

ants or deputies, when on duty, shall
wear some badge of office so that it
may be plainly seen.
Sec. 10 That all laws and parts of
laws in conflict with this ordinance ia
