Socialism and Other
Topics
By MRS. 3. A. DAVIS
I once heard a preacher
8 ay: "Tnat Socialism is the
same as Anarchy." Eighth grade
pupils would be ashamed to ex-
pose such ignorance. Is it any
wonder that churches are falling
off in attendance when preachers,
who should be teachers as well,
show they have so little acquaint
ance with Webster or any other
standard dictionary or encyclo-
pedia.
[ was rejoiced to hear a little
lady who had been away tof the
holidays, say: "I am glad to get
back to Geary" Yes, why not?
There are good and true people
in Geary. The saloons, with the
dirty side-walks in front of them
are things of the past. Good wil!
and peace reigns over Geary.

Our Readers
To many of our readers the
streets of Watonga are almost as
familiar as those of our own
town, and we are naturally in-
terested to read of happenings
there. The following report from
a well known and respected resi-
dent will be helpful tc* numbers
of men and women here in Gearjr.
Mrs. James B. Milligan, Main
St., Watonga, Ok la., says: "I
am always willing to testify to
the merits of Doan's Kidney Pills
There is no praise too great for
them. On a number of occasions
when suffering from p^ins across
my back and hip3 and sluggish
action of the kidneys I have used
Doan's Kidney Pills with utmost
satisfaction. They have practi-
cally rid me of the attacks. An-
other of the family who case was
more severe and long-standing
took several boxes of Doan's
Kidney Pills and it was surpris-
ing how thoroughly they acted."

To prove that this is true we
refer you to Isaah which saysi
