companies will fail. Put your

Won't Locate County Seat.
The conferees on the statehood
bill today considered the county
boundary problem without reach-
ing a conclusion. The predic-
tion is made that any agreement
which may be reached will not
contain the location of county
seats. The boundaries of coun-
ties, however, may be tempor-
arily fixed, in order to preserve
in the interim between territor-
ial and state governments prop-
er court jurisdiction.
Four Million For Eastern Cherokees,
Washington, April 30.— The
expenses of transferring the
Cherokee Indians from their
home in Georgia to the Indian
Territory fifty years ago must
be paid by the federal govern-
ment, according to a decision
of the supreme court today. The
supreme court affirms a decision
made by the court of claims last
winter. The entire award of
$4,000,000 is awarded to th%
eastern Cherokees, cutting out
the "old settlers" or western
Cherokees.
