Dr. Fite, mayor of Muskogee,
A. M. Young, bank cashier, and
Mr. Haskell, a cattleman of that

horses for the fox hunt. Four

' A 6aatlaaian,
Here's a newspaper man's def-
inition of a gentleman credited
to an "Exchange," "A man
that's clean inside and outside,
who neither looks up to the rich
nor down on the poor; who can
lose without squealing and who
win without bragging; who is
considerate to women, children
and old people; who is too brave
to lie, too generous to cheat,
and who takes their share of the
world and lets other people have
theirs."
Tke Fair Association.
On the first day of May there
will be an effo.t made to re-or-!
ganize the Chelsea Fair Asso-j
ciation and as there has been no
juorum since last fair at any of
the appointed meetings, nothing
has been done in the matter of
settling up the business ef last
year. Since the site has been
secured, the ampitheater taken
down and work commenced on
the park it is very important
that this meeting be well atten-
ded by the stockholders, hence
all are earnestly requested to be
present. |
