We want .our hotter nnd I'liv*,
the station to which tho gods bad

To the best of us the practice of the
fine art of simple living consists In do-
ing without things gracefully, saining
what we can of pleasant leisure, and
giving what we can of cheerful com-
panionship, and In never talking about
economy. There are men who would
rather die than swear in the presence
of ladles, yet boast loudly of their sav-
ings in the matter of clgers; and there
are women who would forego their an-
nual spring cleaning rather than show
their ankles, yet who triumphantly tell
you after dinner that you have eaten i Kwj,,K Muskogee and
not sweetbreads at their tablo, but
the frugal calves' brains.
Those people do not know that one
of the principal secrets of the fine art
of simple living Is never to tell. To
aa\ e and to tell Is as bad as to kiss
