The Claremore N ;W3,or its
jaan, Friday, who hides be-
land a nomdeplume, is still
sore because Gid Graham, one
of Rogers county'a/leading cit
jzens, won the d/mocratip sen
atonal "nomination over C S
Wortman. Vtis true that Mr
Wortmari was defeatsed-good
men often "get left" in politic-
campaigns, but we are badly
deceived if he is taking stock
in the measly croak and vile,
dirty, slanderous howl which
appeared in last week's News.
Mr Wortman is an able man
and has been fairly well taken
care of,in a political way, since
hi# arrival in this county, hav-
ing defeated one of our best
men for Representative two
years ago. Gid Graham is al-
so an able man and for years
4ifore the Claremore News
man came from ILinois down
here to "enlighten the natives
Mr Graham was an intelli-
gent and enterprising citizen
44 With others of us" he bore
the brunt of pioneer days and
helped to build the magnifi-
cent country which we now
enjoy. Gid Graham is O K.
He will go-to the State Sen-
ate. He will make. good. He
is proof against the wails of
the croaker, the knocker and
the envious cusses who don't
know brains from rttash.

ved out his term without stain
and should he be elected Supt
of Rogers county Qkla. I fee!

During that time, I had .occa-

Mr J ] Darnell, postmaster,
to make an official inspection
of the office. To the best of
my knowledge and belief this
was done on two different

the affairs of the P O to satis
factory condition, both finan-
