The republicans of this town-
ship met at tho school house
again last Saturday night to dis
cuss certain propositions and to
till out their township ticket. R.
N. Rogers who had been named
for township trustee refused to
to make the race on account of
it interfering with his railroad
work. He now has charge of the
grading Outfit near Coffeyville.
Albert Lewis who resides west
of town was nominated for that
position. Luther Barnes declined
to make the race for township
clerk and Eph Bentley was plac
ed on the ticket in his place.
Ira Marsh of Coffeyville now
has charge of S. M. Sweetens
