The light vote on the amendment
last Tuesday shows what the average
voter thinks of the protection powers
of the corporation commission, also
of railroad building, They stayed at
home, leaving the Inference that they
didn't take much stock In either side
of the question, and they are about
right. It doesn't seem that the cor-
poration commission could control the
railroads, even If they do have the po i|

anyway, so what's the difference?

Taylor Addition of Sixty Lots At Last
Opened Up.
For a number of years, right In the
heart of one of Claremore's prettiest
residence districts, there has been
withheld from public Investment, a
tract of sixty beautiful lots known .as
the Taylor Addition. In fact the city
has built up all around it, and it re-
mained for the Geo. II- Lynch Realty
'o. to secure the property and put
these muchh coveted lots on the mark
et.
In this lesue of the Messenger this
company have a half page advertise-
ment, calling the attention of the pub-
lic to the sale of same that they pro-
pose to Inaugurate on Monday, April
and It would seem from the ex-
tremely low valuee they have fixed,
that the one day alone would find
the entire addition disposed of.
This paper is certainly glad to see
this 'barrren spot dn the center of the
city opened up and feels like congrat-
ulating any one fortunate enough to
secure a lot Within Its confines.
