Emmet Cox, of St. Louis, was
in town last Monday.
Mr. Burnett of Knoxville, Ark
was visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. P-
Watson, Saturday and Sunday.
Mr. Burnett is well pleased
with Okla, and says he thinks
he will soon kick the Ark, dust
from his feet.
B. F. Brown who was living
North of town died last Satur-
day. Mr. Brown had been livi-
ng here about three years and
made many friends while here
His bodv was taken to his old
home in Mo. lor burial. The
News extends sympathy to the
bereaved family.
The County Commessioners
were here last Monday and
viewed the road West of town
to the ford of the Cimarron.

John Lang was up from Sapulpa
Tuesday. He is making arrangem-
ents to move to Keystone.
Henry Puckett, Dead.
Henry Puckett died last I uesday
e :cning of Typhoid fever. Henry
was a good boy, and every one
had a great interest in him. He
had'l just reached n anhood, and
the prospects of a bright future
was before him. lie had been sick
about 2 month's and at one time it
teemed as if he was about to reco-
ver, buthe taken worse on election
day and kept g. tting worse until
the end.
The entire community extends
sympathy to the bereave 1 ones.
Gone To Rest.
Benjameu Brown was born in
Divis Co. Mo. July 29, 1843, and
died at his home North of Keystone
Okla. Nov 14, 1908. He united
with the Christian Church at Mays-
ville, Mo. 1905. He had been feeli-
ng badly for sometime, he became
parallizod and was unconscious
some days bafore the end came.
His oldest dau?ter Mary L And
husband H. M. Johnson were pre
sent before and at his death.
Funeral was conducted by John
Willett, and Body taken to the
evening train, being token to his
Missouri home in care of Mr. Joh-
nson, the wife and children all
have an sympathy and love.
