So the sheriff has entered the
real estate business in Geary? The
Geary opera house is to be sold at
sheriff's sale.
Ttoe sound of the hammer and
saw can be heard in Greenfield from
morning until night and yet there
is not buildings enough to house
the people.
Another Oklahoma newspaper
man has "got in bad" with the
government. Col. Lawhead, form-
erly of the Anadarko American.
Be careful boys or the profession
will suffer a relapse
The Oklahoman says the state
editoral association will visit Paw-
huska, the; capital of the richest
tribe of American Indians. We
would suggest that they go to the
jacks as wealth and editors don't
go well together.
A Rock Island conductor told a
citizen of Greenfield last week that
he had noticed the new life of
Greenfield. He said "Our passen-
ger trains used to stop only a min-
ute, but now it requires from 3 to
ti minutes to accommodate the pas-
senger traffic.
A New Correspondent
In another column will be found
a splendid lot of news items concer-
ing the good people living south
west of Greenfield. The Hustler is
indeed glau to get these items
We want news from every neigh-
borhood in this part of the county.
Principle for Greenfield School
W. F. Shultz will probnbly be the
one chosen for principle- of the
Greenfie'd schools for the coming
year. Mr. Shultz has taught school
in Blaine county for several years
and has the endorsement of the
county superintendent.
Prof. Bryant will probably teach
school in La Flore county.
To Elect Officers
A call meeting of the Greenfield
Commercial Club was held last Fri-
day night at the opera house.
Various important subjects were
discussed and reports of committees
heard. The matter of taking care
of the water at timet, of heavy
rains was discussed and committees
appointed to investigate. At the
next regular meeting, May 5, elec-
bf officers will be held.
The club is doing splendid boost-
ing and every man in and around
Greenfield may become a member.
A. M. Arnspiger, living on route
2 out of Geary, was in Greenfield'
Tuesday making some improve-1

Business in general is very food
in Greenfield. The merchants, shop
keepers, especially the mechanics
and farmers are rushed to the limit
of their capacity. The sound of
the hammer on the anvil can be
heard from day light until darjf. *
The Show Last Monday
The Teeters American shows ex-
hibited here last Monday evening
to a very fair crowd of patrons who
were pleased with the performance.
The company left with a warm place
in their hearts for Greenfield.

along Canadian Valley and is mak-
ing his 13th season on this farm,
his colts are known all over. He is

show colts with any other colts in

Service fee becomes due at once
if owner parts with mare or removes
from country. A lien is held on
mare &colt for service money; care

Mrs. Robinson, of Depew, Okla.,
came in Monday to visit at the
Dunn home.
D. F. Wilson, living north west of
Greenfield, was a pleasant caller at
this office Tuesday.
