An ordinance providing for the keeping of
dogs and prescribing a licence ai.d ltce«e tea.
BE IT ORDAINED. By the board of Trust
ee, of the town of Terlton, in Pawnee County.

Sec. 1. That it shall be unlawful for an> V* -
son to own. keep or barter in the town of Terl
ton any dog. bitch or whelp, unless such own-
er or keeper shall register his name together
with the name. sex. color and the description of
the dog. ami the place where the same Is kepi
with the town clerk, in a book to be ep
him for that purpose, and shall on udlatter^th
first day of April of each year, pay to the town
clerk or the town marshall a license foe of $1-
for each male dog and $2 00 for each
dog over the age of twelve "eeks^ At the time
of the payment of such fee the Clerk or mar-
shall shall deliver to the per* n making sue

ber of the dog and the year of
shall be unlawful for the owner or keeper of any

Provided, that the provisions ef this ordinance
shall not apply to dogs not owned, kept or har-

clerk or marshall shall receive a fee of twenty

plum tiers and tinners, doctors, denttats black-
,miths. and all manufacturing establishments,
