The Tulsa police department and
the fire department are under investi-
gation by the grand jury.
The City National Bank of Hobart
has surrendered its national charter
and becomes a state bank under the
name of City Guaranty bank.
Okmulgee will vote on the propo-
sition to bond the city in the sum ol
$110 000 to improve and enlarge the
fire department at the regular city
election on April 1.
The Bartlesville city commissioners
have adopted a resolution authorizing
a vote on the issuing of bonds to
motorize the city fire department, and
to provide' the street department, with
the modern flusher equipment. The
amount of bonds to be voted for the
fite department is $40,000, and for the
street department $5,000. The vote
will be at the election April 1.

the district court of Cherokee cowityi

cord of Noel's trial and the history of
the crime Governor Robertson decided

death when he set fire to the padded

prisoners, men and women, were
transferred from the jail in less than
fifteen minutes after the fire was dis-

county courtroom across the alley and
guarded while firemen fought and put
down the flames with but little dam-

Gladys Davis, 12 years old, daughter
of a Bokoshe coal miner, was taken
