War Savings
THAT THE NATION MAY BE UNIFIED',
Day
Entry man, woman and child is directed to assemble in their
respective communities that they may give their subscriptions
for War saving Stamps.
Acting under authority vested in me by the United States Treasury Depart-
ment and in accordance with the proclamation of the President of the United States
and the Governor of this state, I. Geo. W. Barnes, State Diretor of the National War
Savings Commftte for Oklahoma, hereby call all persons, regardless of station, to
meet on Friday, June 28, 1918, to give their subscriptions for War Saving Stamps.
In rural communities and tn the smaller towns meetings will be held in the dis-
trict school houses and in the cities at places designated by the local officers of the

and the hour at 2 O'clock in the afternoon. The assembly of all the people m their
respective communities at the appointed hour will unify the natien and make VIC-
TORY certain!
Therefore, I, Geo. W. Barnes, State Director, acting under the auth-
ority of the U. S. Treasury Dept., hereby convey to you the mandate of
the President of the United States and the Governor of Oklahoma and
demand your presence. A definite quota of W. S. S's has been assigned
each school district and community, which will be announced to each
meeting on June 28. The school officers will conduct the meeting.
A record of the proceedings ot each meeting will fee kept, the names of the
persons present recorded asid the amaunt of War Savings Stamps suiissriked for
by them. The names of the absent persons, and of those who refuse or neglect
to sufcsedLe, with the reasons for so doing, will fee recorded and reported to the
War Savings Committie, acting under authority of the United States Tresury Depart-
ment, for investigation.

at the hour appointed, gnd an obedience to the order of the Presi
dent assures the support of Oklahoma in the successful prosecution of
the war.
