Beautiful fall weather. Farm-
ers are busy gathering 'n
abundant crop of grains. Some
are still busy sewing wheat.
Pearl McKee lost a fine horse
about a week ago, cause of death
unknown, and last Saturday
evening another horse became
seriously >ck from eating cane.
Dr. Swift was called and no
doubt saved the horse's life.
Geo. Brown and little daugh-
ter visited Fred Schnell s last
Saturday.
Helen Bartcll is visiting her
aunt near Hitchcock this week.
'The Floyd children were on
the sick list last week, under the
care of Dr. Buchanan they are
improving nicely.
A T. DeMoss and wife, Mr.
and Mrs. Peter Bartell, Geo.
Brown and Fred Schnell were
callers at the McKee home Sun-
day.
Miss Ruby Bugbee, teacher at
Clierryvale spent Saturday and
Sundav with home folks at Wa-
tonga.

There has been quite a change
in the weather for the past lew

Sunday School has been started
again. Church every first and
third Sunday of the month.
Prayer meeting every Thursday
night of Oie week. Rev. Bar-
nam is the pastor of our church
at Nine Mile.
R. E Condonier helped Nick
Garriotte haul hogs to Canton,
Saturday.
Albert and Karl Holloweli
were out of school this week
helping their father put up hay
Mrs. Geo. Garriotte was in
Eagle City Friday evening.
Clifton Haskins and family
spent Sunday afternoon at W.
K. Haskins' home.
VV. C. Holloweli and wife were
in the city of Carter Monday.
Mr. Lee Garriotte and family
are visiting this week with his
sister, Mrs Henry Hathaway,
near Fonda, while Henry is gone
to Arkansas to accompany his
mother home with him.
Little Beatrice Condonier
stayed over Monday night at her
grandma's the Holloweli home.
Mrs. R. E. Condonier spent
the afternoon Tuesday at the
Holloweli home.
W. K. Haskins was in Eagle
City Monday morning.
Mrs. Julia Venn is visiting at
the K. E. Condanier home for a
few days helping to make com-

Miss Francis Tate was a guest
