The spirit of Love shall prevail and
all men shall know me from the least
to the greatest for then they shall
be of one brotherhood "for as much
as ye have done it unto the least of
these ye have done it unto ME” '
The preacher says “the world Is
trying to take Christmas ‘away from
us It Is the churches by right we
preach Christ and all festinties should
In the church
t n
is it so?
Let us see brother they have read
some wheres In some book these
words: “And God so Loved the world
that he gave his only begotten son
That who soever belleveth In him
shall not perish but have ever lasting
life"
Now note He didn't give his son
to the church but to the world
Now this was a wise provision as
all of God's acts are for If He had
said churah then there would have
been a squable for posesslon for there
are many churches with many creeds
and there Is but one world with its
many deeds
Old Friends
Xlos jro have known me for
many ' years know that ! at times I
speak and act' a' little ' peculiar’
It Is due probably to a little accident
that happened In my early life while
my folks were living in a log house
In the early pioneer life of Michigan'
The stairs were a mere ladder nearly
straight up and the first step 6b
morning was a little progressive and
the next in order was more so I lit
not on my feet which was to show
that I was not a cat but a natural
tom boy and when they saw tile
Angelic look on my face they knew
I vu to live to a ripe old age andbe
a little : peculiar in my latter day'
And the more peculiar I get Uj
more natural I seem to myself ‘ at
least 1 i
A Few Things To Be Corrected
During the remaining few days bS
YULETTDE we should talk a good
deal to the Lord and to ourselves
now when you are getting first aid
you ought not 4 Have two n4ny
around It puts “Kinder a damper
In the confessional" "
We are today in a picket some-
thing -or some one has done us1 a
great injury Now as you have de-J
nlghed Uncle Bill Murray the privBe-
age to pull you out better turn to the
Lord don’t trust too much in cor-
porations stock and bonds k' ’
We figure It out here in Woodward
that we would now have plenty of
money to do business with If it had
not been for wall street Investments
All gambling is wrong dead wrong
and it maybe many of you hav
learned It In a different school than I
have t get’ It by study and obSert
vatlon You can see and understand
the game if you can preempt a god
knot hole a little bigger than the eye
I hope I can think of something
better to write next time goodbye
