heard after the game The general
opinion is that it was the best game
played on our grounds this term

WHEREAS The Board of Educa-
tion of the City of Anadarko of the
State of Oklahoma a body corporate
and duly organized and existing as
the corporate authority of the city
School District comprising said City
of Anadarko and the outlying terri-
tory annexed therto for school pur-
poses has determined the assessed
valuation of said Board of Education
for the fiscal year beginning July 1
1918 and ending June 80 1919 is not
sufficient by a levy of five mills to
create a fund sufficient to provide
the funds that will be required to be
raised by taxation for the support
and maintenance of the schools con-
trolled by said Board of Education
for the said fiscal year And
WHEREAS It has been determin-
ed that an additional leVy of 8ft mills
will be required for such support and
maintenance Now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED By said Board
of Education that a special election
be called for the purpose of submit-
ting to the qualified voters of said
school district comprising said city
and territory annexed thereto for
school purposes the question of in-
creasing the levy of said school dis-
