Moore was. like Burin. one of the best
writers we have ever bad of "words

the wonls are i'lseparabte from the
music. Goldsmith. a poet of a different

Parents are rtqutsTVd to give their children positive instruction to
come home immediately after the cloae of school owing to £be fact that
some get into trouble for loitering on the streets to play maibles: aod it
would be wise to limit the amount ot money spent for marbles, for they
cause confusion in tbe school rsom and tbe boys learn to play for sain.
Aa the days are fast becoming shorter it will be well for all to be tir
themselves in the mornings so tbat the number of cases of tardiness may
be decreased rather than increased. Tbe teachers desire tbat all tbe
pupils be present all tbe time, for all unnecessary tardiness and absence
is a great hindrance to their plans and tbe progress of important work.
A long felt need of the schools is a library fully adequate for all tbe
needs of tbe course of study. Plans are being conaidered whereby the
g>resent library, which is fairly well started, may be extensively enlarged.
There are no di ubt many copies or sets of excellent magazines in town
whicn wou!d l e of great bent tit to our present library and it U hoped tbat
we may receive many donations soon Simply call us up and will arrange
to have all donations, for which due credit will be given, brought to tbe
library Whether your gitt is one <<r more copies of a book, magazine or
pamphlet it will be thankfully received.
Printed copies of tbe course of study may be bad upon rrquest.
Thanksgiving programs will be given on Wtdneeday afternoon pre-
ious to this holiday, to which all parents are cordially invited.
