SUBSCRIPTION PRICE ti KIR YEAR
Did you ever stop to consider
the wonderful growth of Canton.
1 an you think of a town that is
us large and progressive as Can-
ton at the first mile stone. One
year old is she, but a stranger
would swear that she was old
enough to put on her apron and
go to school. Compare her with
other towns of her age anil you
can then comprehend her won-
derful growth. A little over a
year ago the townsite of Canton
was nothing but a pasture; today
she is a thriving little city, the
envy of her neighboring towns.
Why ? Because she has the lo-
cation. the shipping facilities,
the natural environments, and,
last but nut least, a progressive,
up-to-date class of people who
are eternally and eeei&astingly
pushing for the town. Do we
expect to have a second Chicago.'
No. We expect to see Canton a
little city of at least 3,000 people
and that inside of ten years time.
The business men of a town have,
more or less, the making of it,
