ef chestnut cooked above add to
rich -brown sauce prepared ky thick-
ening the fat In the pan with two to

of chestnuts far fifteen minute shell
end skin them then cook in boiling
water until tender Rub through a

have received a three inch rain

The report says the rain was the

This is made necessary by the dam-
age to hydrants caused by using
wrenches other than regular hydrant

to be annexed to Love county and
a petition for calling an election
has been circulated in the township
and the proper number of signatures
have been secured to call the elec-
tion and Governor Walton has sig-
nified hie attention of calling the
election at an early date We
would gladly welcome this Jeffer-
son county township into one of
the best counties in the state — that
of Love

I BOILER HOUSE BURNS
The boiler house at the Ambassa-
dor Oil Company’s test on the
Lather Gray land on the Bayou 12
mile west of Marietta was destroy-
ed by fire early Monday night and
considerable damage done to the
boiler by the fire melting connec-
tions on and around the boiler Oil
is being used for fuel at the test and
the house was ignited from flames
from the boiler Work was resum-
ed at the test late Tuesday evening
This test is still looking good and
considerable gaa and rainbows of
oil have been encountered during
the week Much trading in acreage
in the vicinity of the well has been
done within the past week All of
the large companies in this section
of the state have purchased acreage
around the well
