TO THE VOTERS AND TAX PAYERS OF
LOVE COUNTY OKLAHOMA:
In view of the approaching
primary election to be held on
the 4th day of August 1914 and
my inability to meet each voter
of this countr personally I take
this method of expressing to you
and to each of you the deep ap-
preciation that I entertain for
your kindness and courtesies in
the past When I entered upon
my stewardship as County Judge
of Love county it was done with
the knowledge that there was
the gravest duty' to perform I
have at all times felt the keenest
sense of the honor and destine-
tion placed upon me by your
generosity and can say without
the fear of successful contradic-
tion that I have endeavored ear-
nestly to prove to all of you that
my sole desire was to so conduct
myself personally' and in the atT-
ministration of the law in such
a mabner as to show an appreci-
ation of the dignity of the posi-
tion and your confidence in as-
sisting me to perform the duties
of Countv Judge I have served
you as best I could for one and a
half years unremittingly and
how well I have served is a mat-
ter in the hands of a fair and
impartial citizenship to deter-
mine If I have served well then
the credit is yours and the con-
science of having served well is
fine and I shall doubtless give
you a better administration of
the affairs of the office -during
the secondterm tban I did the
first
Now as I am a candidate for
re election to the office of County
Judge of Love County Oklaho-
