The Poultry Show.
Our people should bear in mind
lhat tbe eighth annual exhibition of
the Northern Oklahoma Poultry and
Pet Stock Association begins in this
city next Tuesday, Dec. 19, and con-
tinues five days Tbey should no'
only remember the fact tbat tbe
ahow will be held on those date*, but
should make it a point to attend as
many daya aa possible.
The ni-ow tbis year Is on a much
larger scale than any of tboae pre-
ceding It. Tbis is partly due to tbe
fact that tbe work rt tbe association
hzs awakened a growing interest tn
tbe care of poultry and pet stock and
largely to the fact that tbe manage-
ment has labored incessantly and In-
telligently to make the show a suc-
cess.
Tbis paper bas taken tbe trouble
to ascertain as near as may be wbat
tbe prospects of tbe coming snow arc,
and finds tbat the entries-air. ady
made and to be made indicate tbat
the show will not only be fully twice
aa large in the number of exhibits'
made ai any show heretofore held,
but that the representation of tbe
various breeds and strains ot poultry
will be vastly greater.
Tbe preparations for tb: show are
now practically complete and there
will be no delay or confusion is plac-
ing tbe exhibits on tbe day of tbe
