faking Plans to Attend State Council

wood home demonstration agent

wood assistant director of home
economics program for the Fad-
mi Extension service will be
the principal speaker at the ses-
sion to be held on the campus of
fast Central State College

"A Challenge to Homemakers”
will be the topic of Miss Hey
wood who will appear in the af
temoon portion of the pro-
gram Miss Heywood a native of
Washington state has had a long
career of service in home demon-
stration work She served as a
county home agent in New York
state where she was also assis-
tant leader of the state program
In New Hampshire she headed
the state program before trans-
ferring to the fedral service as
the state program before trans-
field agent for the north central
states
“Forward with 4-H Work" is
to be the subject of young Sei-
ber who is president of both the
Hughes county 4-H organization
and the southeast district 4-H
federation
Rebekahs Will Have
Luncheon New T
‘Pals’ Will Be Drawn
Plans were made Monday night
at the regular meeting of the
Rebekah lodge to have a covered
dish luncheon Monday March 19
at the hall At this meeting each
member is to bring her secret pal
a ’ gift and new pals will be
drawn for the coming year
After lodge refreshments of
cake coffee and ice cream bars
centered with a green shamrock
was served to 13 members pres-
ent The bean dinner ' which was
scheduled for March 10 was post-
poned until after the Easter season
