the order of President Wilson on
October 27 ’ 1917 This explain
why coal ie almost aa high now
as It wa last fall after the gov-

than they will- be again before
next aprlng The price for April
coal la 80 cents lower than It

In other words the price will be

government and the Fuel Administration in meeting
the fuel problem will at once place orders and stock
up while the coal is available”
“Our main problem last winter was in getting
enough cars to haul the coal Conditions the com-
ing winter are likely to be worse than last winter”
“Until further notice dealers may sell and deliver
coal to domestic consumers without restriction to
quantity”
“The coal shall be sold at prices fixed by the Fuel
Administration f o b mines plus the freight chan-
ges war tax and $150 gross margin and drayage
charges if delivered”
