best patron that the Divorce courts of
Alfalfa county has ‘had since statehood
according to the records on file His wife
Helen Calhoun filed a divorce proceeding
against him the first of the week charg-
ing cruelty and neglect She states in
her petition that Calhoun beat her up and
otherwise disturbed her scheme ef life'
This is the second time in three years
that Calhoun has been a defendent in a
divorce action In 1908 a former wife
filed suit and was given a divorce in the
district court
