The Ford Model T One Ton Track is in reality a necessity to the wide awake
retail grocer not only for the economic solution of the delivery problem but for
the bringing of goods from the docks or stations to his place of business and for
traversing the country and bringing in produce For years the Ford One Ton
Truck with its splendid manganese bronse worm-drive powerful Ford Model
T Motor strong Vanadium steel frame has been serving in every line of business'
activity and we have yet to hear the first complaint as to rear axle trouble or
motor trouble It has the lowest purchase price on the market and the cost
for operating and maintaining is exceedingly small In fact the Ford One Toni
Truck has become a business necessity Leave your order with us without delay'
We will give you prompt attention and assure you reasonably prompt delivery
and give you an after service that will Insure your continuous operation of the

If you have any doubt that the
Federal Reserve Act has helped
you any look at the paper money
you may happen to have in your
purse The chances are just
seven to three that the money
you carry is Federal Reserve
notes Try this and see for
yourself
Business is good with me
Why? Because I sell fresh
staple family groceries at close
prices and give strict attention
to business Try me and see if
I don’t please you

TothaPeoj of ths 14th
District
1 Jtfr is with much regret that
I resigned thd position of Dis-
tjrict Judge of these four counties
after nearly six years of service
if that capacity In the recent
primary I was nominated by the
people of the 5th Congressional
District for Congress and feel
that it is my duty to visit the
people before the election talk
with them find out their wants
explain my platform and assist
in the success of our party
wish to thank the people of this
judicial district for their kind
co-operation during the past six
years and their assistance in my
behalf I always administered
the affairs of the office to the
very best of my ability
i About the first of September
id the beginning of the busy
court season and while I needed
the salary of District Judge I
cpuld not give my attention to
those duties and also make the
campaign Therefore not wish-
ing to draw a salary that I did
not ‘ earn decided to resign
Words will not express 'my ap-
preciation for the Congressional
nomination and if elected I will
work in that position as I have
always done
It The people now see the need
of Warehouses and when I an-
nounced for Congress' my plat-
form contained a provision of
that kind' The Government
should build Warehouses where
the farmers can store their pro-
ducts and borrow money from
government on his Warehouse
receipts at not to exceed six per
cent ' interest if needed ' to
engble him to hold his products
for a fair market and not he
compelled to sell when the mar-
ket is off
I also favor an early settle-
ment of Indian affairs and want
the Government to assist the sol-
diers and sailors of the recent
war to buy them homes in the
country or in town a3 they de-
sire Thanking the good people of
this District for ‘their kindness
and assistance and assuring you
that I will greatly appreciate
your assistance in the election

Must Produce More
Naturally the $600000000
wage increase granted railroad
workers will be passed on to the
public in the form of increased
passenger and freight rates
There is just one way in which
the country as a whole can get
value for its additional expendi-
ture and that is for the railroad
workers to show their apprecia-
tion by an increase in efficiency
The cost of living can never go
down as wages remain high un-
less those receiving the wages
produce more'
