The Aid society of the M. E. church
met at the home of Mrs. Otis Clark
Wednesday. They will meet next
Wednesday with Mrs. J. V. McMahon.
Ben "Musgrove is carrying his hand
in a sling this week on account of
coming in contact with a barb wire

Word reached here that a Mexican
was waylaid and killed at Skedee the
tirst of the week. A white man has
been arested and is now being held
charged with the crime.
Don't forget the "Lend Me Your
Wife" Co., that plays an engagement
at the opera house to night. March
12th. This is the big laughing show
of the season and* they carry five of
the best vaudeville specialties that
can be seen anywhere.
The Baptist Aid society met at the
chorch Tuesday afternoon and organ-
ized a Union Aid society by inviting
the Methodist and Presbyterian mem-
bers to join in the work. A good at-
tendance was in evidence and much
interest was manifest. Refreshments
were served and everybody had a good j
time. It was decided to hold these
union meetings once every three
months, and the next meeting of this
organization wi'l be held at the Meth-
odist church on Wednesday. June 2.

nee. was in to«n Wednesday and
made arrangements to supply the
people of Ralston with congealed
moisture during the summer. He has
rented the building adjoining the
postortice on the west, and will have
a man here to look after the business
and deliver ice about the middle of
