  • Content Description: Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "One of the 10 B-29s dragged to safety when flames broke out in the repair building at Tinker field furnished a picturesque for this general view by Joe Miller, Times staff photographer. First flames were spotted just beyond the ambulance and the point from which white smoke is pouring. The huge hanger behind is completely obscured by the heavy (?) which covered the area. Firemen were attempting to enter the building (to the right of (?) lance) at the time the picture was made."
