dert's railroad "bill last week.
The statehood bill passed by
the house is just as equitable, but
the senate attached numerous
amendments; whether this ac-
tion was in good faith or for the
purpose of killing the bill will be
known this week, whith chances
in faver of the affirmative.
The statehood bill is now in the
hands of the pint conference
committee.
If the Senate is reasonable we
are sure of statehood.
