Bogey Flat Is situated between
tb« Washita river and ihggj
areak. and ia about eight miles

made from 15 to 80 bushel per
acre; wheat from 12 to while

lavel and from 30 to 150 feet lower
in the surrounding country.
Water Is obtained at from 10 to 30
feet below the surfaos and is gsner*
ally of vary good quality. The peo
pla are about half and half Ameri-
can and German. Society is good
and everything flourishing. The
towns in this ssotiou are Doggy, in
the north-west and Shelly in the
oouth-east, both do a good b jsiosss.
There are two mills on the flat;
Bier's borto power and Gaeddert's
wind power, with a eapaoity of 100
huehels per day. This is the best
wheal secttoo in Washita county.
Schneider A Go's thresher thrashed
over 16,000 bushels of wheat be-
tween tee Waehita river and Bog-
gy areak this seaeoo.and if a roller
mill is located in the oounty, thia
flat will be the proper place for it.
Broom cora baa bean raised here
with food results, making i a ton
par acre. There is sosas talk of
trying castor beans here nest seas-
on. We think it will pay.
