This alone will be worth
than the ordinary wheat.
Mr. Vaniman has about fifty
acres of this wheat, known as
Miracle wheat, and it promises
to yield several bushels more per
acre than the other wheat raised
on his or adjoining farms. This
is accounted for by the fact that
the heads are. longer and the ker-
nels larger. It is the only wheat
of the kind, so far as wekno*,
Mr. Vaniman securing the seed
from near Roosevelt where it has
been raised for a couple of years.
He has taken considerable care to
prevent mixing, and if it yields
much more than that of the ord-
inary wheat on the farms adjoin-
ing then he will reserve his en-
tire crop for seed, and sell to the
farmers at an advance in price.
If it comes up to what is fore-
told of it then it would be a good
buy at double the price of the
kinds of wheat that has been
grown here, as the kicrease yield
on one acre would pay for seed
, for several acres. It is also said

was six miles of line to lay be-

REPAIRS
If you want to build a gran-
ary this season you'll have
to get busy right now. And
if you have a granary that
needs repairing, even if it
needs but a new board or
two, you should see that all
repairs are made at once.
Be sure to have all repairs
made before the busy har-
vest. And be sure to put
up "Can't Sag" gates in the
place of your broken ones.
They will save you time and
money. Ask to see sample

THE BUSINESS OF ABSTRACTING.
The business of abstracting
titles is of comparatively rec-
ent growth. I
As land increases in value
the need of title security be-
comes more and more imper-
ative. It is just as sensible
to safeguard the title to a
thousand-dollar vacant lot as
it is to keep your thousand
bond under lock and key.
Protection in oither case is
the thing sought.
Good titles make real estate
as negotiable as stocks and
bonds, and there is no way
of being sure about the title
except by the help oi" an ab-
stract.
