aale at Gate City Saturday and
several bought lots from this
neighborhood.
Mrs. J. Rathers visited Mon-
day afternoon with Mrs. Fannie
Bowers.
The Hollow'een masquerade
party Saturday night given by
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Rathers
was well attended and all report
a find time. As nearly all were
masked a fine llolloween lunch
was served in the good old style
and all departed at a late hour
wishing Mr. and Mrs. Rathers
many happy returns of the day.
Lewis Rather bought th* Gid-
ley place at the auction sale in
Gate Saturday.
The revival meeting at the
Root school house Sunday ni ght.
J. Rather made a trih to Gate
Monday for his bill of fruit trees.
