1909 Corn Facts
I. O. Johnston, who raised a
bumper corn crop on the Leonard
Tyler plac last year, is there with
the goods again this year. He
brought in some stalks Friday
which measured 12 feet. The
first ear being 7 feet from the
ground.
Frank Myres is claiming first
honors on the banner corn field
this year. He brought us in a
dozen mamoth roasting ears last
week any one of which would
make a mess. Frank says his
field will beat last year's record
