The sellers of the liquor that made
the men drunk escaped. Not an ar-

or country.
Inquiry as to where the liquor ramA
from that flooded the city Saturday
and Sunday failed to develop the ex-
act spot. From the actions of some of
the victims of the boose flood it was
easy to got within a block of the

did not fall into the hands of the of-

ARBOR DAY PROCLAMATION
Planting of trees is a duty In-
cumbent on every good citizen
for the reason that in doing so
they not only beautify their in-
dividual property, but they add to
the attractiveness of the com-
munity, and bring about a benefit
both for themselves and others.
March H and 10 have been
designated as Arbor days in Ok-
lahoma. On these days citizens
all over the state are expected to
Rive special attention to setting
out trees. We have seen the bene
fits of such movements in Drum-
right in the past, and I urge that
all the residents of this city give
due observance to these days. In
no other way can we, by the in-
vestment of a few dollars nnd a
little effort, add so greatly to the
loveliness and the value of our
homes and our city.
