History of this community as recalled by Mrs. Nora Hoffman of Ardmore, Sept. 3, 1968. Originally named after a cattle brand, Ox-Bar, this community nine miles southeast of Ardmore was a large one. Mrs. Hoffman relates-how her father and the Frensley brothers would drive cattle to market, Jasper Underwood, first postmaster in 1895, two general stores (and other businesses), three doctors, Mannering, Lindley and Duck, and a list of names she remembers from the area. 6 pages, handwritten
