•Jewish Holliday,
Our Jewish friends are observing their
New ^ oar's holliday which comes on the
10th day of September. This holliday
is universally observed by the Jewish
race m all parts of the world, and is the
5051st year, according to the Jewish
calander, lunar time, since the creation
of the world. The day is called "Rosli-
llashunah," or Xew Year of the Jews.
Ten days from now will follow the "Day
of Atonement" or "Yon-Kipor," or day
of forgiveness of sins. Religious services
were hold last night at 8 o'clock at Odd
Fellows' hall. Services were held again
this morning at 9 o'clock. All of Jew-

not open until G o'clock this evening.
