Guthrie, Okla.—Assistant Attorney
Gt neral W. C. Reeves rendered an
opinion 10 the regents of the Tonkawa
pieparatory school that the section of
land given it by act of congress sev-
eral years ago cauld not be sold by
them. The regents wished to dispose
11 the land, which is a valuable 040
acres, and use the proceeds for the
benefit of the school, and the legisla-
ture gave tlieni $11,790 lo buy up the
claims of the lessees.
Plan to Fight Trusts.
Heverly, Mass.—President Taft and
Attorney General Wickersham have
outlined the policy which the govern-
ment will follow in the plan for a
more complete regulations^ trusts.
While they will not ilu*euss their
plans, it is known that they intend h>
carry out the "Roosevelt policies" and
that every plan they worked out dur-
| ing their conferences of the last two
days followed these lines.

nounced that the $25,000 worth of
bonds which had ben lost in shipment
from Chandler to Guthrie had ben re-
covered. Most of the bonds were
found scattered over the town of Bris-
tow.
