The "Home, Field and Forum" is
the only agricultural journal devoted
to the interests of the farmers and the
material resources of Oklohoma and
the Indian Territory. It is u bright,
reliable, clean and well*printed 10-page
magazine, and deals with the special
wants of the agriculturists, fruit grow-
ers and stock raisers of the Territory,
anji has special departments devoted
to agricultural matters, livestock, hor-
ticulture, dairying, poultry, agriculture,
veterinary; reliable market summa-
ries, home circle, young" folks, fs rm
organizat ions, correspondence, edit >-
rial, etc.
The management and editors have
had many years of successful experi-
ence with this class of papers in the
West and have selected this fertile
and beautiful country as the best pos-
sible location for a high-eluss Agricul-
tural .Journal. They are looking it
fitly and truthfully represent the inter-
ests of the great industrial class to
which it is devoted, and there is not a
farmer in all this county that can af-
ford to do without it. It in issued
monthly, at Guthrie, and is only 50
cents a year.
Realizing that we could not furnish
our farmer readers with n more valua-
ble premium, we have purchased 100
yearly subscriptions of tin* Home,
Field and Forum Co., and will present
each of the first 100 farmers who sub-
scribe or renew their subscription for
the Democrat with a year's subscrip-
tion for that most valuable journal.
This most extraordinary offer is cer-
tainly one which every farmer should
take advantage of at the earliest pos-
sible moment.

The Kansas City Times lias done it-
self great injury trying to cover up the
investigation of the diabolical attempt
of some dastardly curs to rob our settlers
with impunity. No homstead settler
in "Q" county who reads the''Times' "
v ill ideation of t hief Justice Dale and
his associates for their efforts to pun-
ish criminals without '"fear or favor'
will ever esteem that paper above the
Police (Jazette for its civilizing influ-
ences . The frequent articles appear-
ing of late In the "Times" serve only
as extreme illustrations of newspaper
imbecility, dishonesty and cowardice
The Times has heretofore been high-
ly esteemed by our people for the inter-
est it seemingly took in their behalf:
but its present attempts, upon v i llainous-
ly false statements, to create public sen-
timent in behalf of selfconfessed crimi- j
nals has destroyed its future influence j
with our people. Why at one stroke
it seeks its own certain destruction we
can't nderstand, unless that the man-,
agement thereof has allowvd itself to i
be hoodw inked by some designing cor-
respondent* Pawnee Democrat.
