Easter Luncheon
Mi.. XV. O. Bourland entt-rtained last
Thursday at her spacious home on VI-
riita Avenue with it one o'clock lunch-
eon. The guests were seated at one
large table which had Easter sugges-
tions lor its decorations. The tiiine
Idea was carried out In the elaborate
three courst luncheon. Mrs. A. V.
Nowlin gave a toant to the ladies re-
sponded to by the hostess which caus-
ed much merriment throughout the
luncheon. Those present were: Mef-
daines A. I). Nowlin Hex Chaney
Frank Lewis R. B. Heard Ralph Raw-
litigs J. K. Ury Frank Emanuel C. M.
Mays J. R. Summers und Hugh Cush-
tnberry. Sulphur Locals
Mrs. Nadine M. Pugh and little son
.lirnmie left last Wednesday for Ver-
non Texas where she will Join her
husband Looney Pugh and will make
their future home near Vernon. Their
many friends in and near Sulphur wish
them well in their new location. Mrs.
K. D. Bulen her mother accompan-
ied them as far as Davis.
Miss Catherine Dulen and her as-
sistant Miss Beatrice. Bowser at Flet-
cher school are doing" good work
School is progressing and everybody
Interested. The patrons all turned out
and leveled up the yard lust week
and the pupils and teachers planted
flowers etc. Miss itulen has four boys
who will take the state examinations.
Buckuorn played basket ball with
Drake recently and defeated them 7
to i. A fine game was repotted.
Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery from
Greenville Texas are here this week

from Oklahoma City where she has
been taking medical treatment ut the
Wesley Hospital. She Is reported to
be lapidly Improving in health.

ddet. all of which was well received
