excessive supply at any time.
Owners have been waiting also for
an advance in the market, or at I
least, for prices a little firmer than :
thoae prevailing the last few weeks'
Midule snd upper grades of killing
stMre made a small advance last
week, but qusrantines sold a little
lower, and stockers and feeders
quit the week in bad shape. The
run to-day is 26,000 head, includ-
ing 3000 calves, which is more in
line with usual September Mon-
day runs than heretofore. Prices
are ete«dy to 10 lower to day, the
best killers holding steady Top

not nearly as good quality as in
recent weeks and the best rarely
get above 7.00. (Quarantine sup
plies are running double those of
a year ago, but are decreasing
each week. 14) care in the southern
division here to-day, steers steady
to 10 lower, at 1.00 to 5.25. Thir-
teen cars of Colorado steers, from
Debeque, were here last week, at
n.20 and 1.U5. Steers of the same
brand and from same range sold at
this time last year at 1HC, and

cents last week, slow steady to-day

Hog supplies are increasing,
which affords packers opportunity
to snforce declines The low spot
recently was touched the middle
of last week, but as supplies have
run smaller since then prices have
recovered a little. Run is *>000

higher, top 7 bulk of sales 7.10
to 7.30. No very grest increase in
receipts is expected before the
early winter, and it looks like the
present values should hold good,
particularly in view of the fact
that they are two dollars lower
than a year ago at this time.
.Sheep and lambs are running to
market in extremely great num-
bers from the Northwest, and the
prices are tumbling. Chicago and
Omaha are overloaded avery day,
the former market having 10,000
to day. and Omaha 50,000. These
conditions make a very mean mar-
ket for sellers. Ron here to-day
is 12,000, and while supplies at
this point are fairly heavy, they

ern points, and the stuff can be
moved easily here. Prices are
teady here to-day. bef*t lambs ars

The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least one
dreaded disease that science has been
able to cure in all its stages, and that is
Catarrh. Hall s Catarrh Cure is the oa
ly positive cure now known to the medi-
cal fraternity. Catarrh being a consti-
tutional disease, requires s constitution-
al treatment. Hall § Catarrh Cure b
taken internally, acting directly upon
the blood and mucus surfaces of the
system, thereby destroying the founda
tion of the disease, and giving the pa
tient strength by building up the con-
stitution and assisting nature in doing
its work. The proprietors have so much
faith in its curative powers that they
offer One Hundred Dollars f«>r any case |
that it fails to cure, send for list of
testimonials.
