brings us back from an imagin-

Florida. Oklahoma's summer

The Weleetka hotel is under-
going some repairs this week

one of the first lawyers in We-
leetka but moved to Okemah
some years ago.

county to organize a Court for
the Tribe of Ben Hur. Address

Be it ordained by the Board of Trus-
tees of the Incorporated town of We-
leetka, Okfuskee County, Oklahoma.
Section One:—That the members of
the Board of Trustees of the Incorpo-
rated Town of Weleetka, Okfuskee
County, Oklahoma, shall each recei\ e
for his services as said Trustee the sum
of TwoDollars for each meeting of said
board actually attended by said mem-
ber, provided that there shall not be
allowed any sum in excess of Six Dol
lars for any one calender month.
Section Two:—That the president
of the Board of Trustees of the Incor-
porated Town of Weleetka, Bhall re-
ceive for his services as president of
said board, the sum of three dollars
for each meeting actually attended and
presided over, provided that there
shall not be allowed any sum in excess
of nine dollars for any one calender
month.
Section Three:—That the Town
Clerk of the incorporated Town of We-
leetka, Oklahoma, shall receive for his
services as said clerk, the sum of
twenty dollars for each calender month.
Section Four:-That the salary of
■the treasurer of the Incorporated Town
of Weleetka, Oklahoma, shall be the
sum of one dollar per year.
Section FivE:-That the town mar-
shal of the Incorporated Town of We-
leetka, Oklahoma, shall receive for
h i s services a s said marshal
the sum of one dollar per month and
such additional compensation as the
Board of Trustees may allow by reso-
lution from time to time.
Section Six:-That the Treasurer of
the Incorporated'Town of Weleetka,
Oklahoma, shall on the first days of
July and January in each year, submit
to the town clerk a detailed report of
the financial condition of the Incorpo-
rated town of Weleetka, in which re-
port, shall be shown the amount of
money received and from whom re-
ceived and the amount of money ex-
pended and to whom expended, and the
amount of each warrant outstanding
against said town and to whom due;
and that this report shall embrace and
cover the six months preceeding the
date on which the report is submitted.
Section Seven-That the clerk of
the Incorporated Town of Weleetka,
Oklahoma, at the first regular meeting
of the Board of Trusuees in each month
submit to said Board of Trustees, a re-
port of all moneys received by him,
and the disbursement of the same!
during the month preceeding the one in
which the report is made; that he shall
prepare and cause to be published in a
legal newspaper in said town, a report
of the action of the said Board of
Trustees upon each claim against the
said town, in which report shall be set
forth the name of the claimant, the
amount of the claim, and for what,
and whether allowed or not allowed;
that the said clerk shall cause to be
published in a legal newspaper in Baid
town the report of the Treasurer of
said town.
Section Eight:—That the Town
Marshal of the Incorporated Town of
Weleetka, Oklahoma, shall at the first
meeting in each month, submit a de-
tailed report of all receipts of the
month immediately preceeding the one
in which said report is made, to the
Board of Trustees.
Section Nine:—That in the interest
of public peace, safety and welfare of
the inhabitants of the Incorporated
Town of Weleetka, Oklahoma, an
emergency is declared to exist, by rea-
son whereof this ordinance shall be-
come in full force and effect immedi-
ately upon its passage, adoption and
approval.
Passed, adopted, approved and
ordered published this 8th day of
March, A. D., 1911.
