About three thousand people were
gathered in the warehouse in the town
of Ravia at the call meeting of Johnson
county, on Friday, the 5th, to dedicate
the Farmers' Union warehouse of John-
son county which is one of the best
warehouses in the state. Johnson
county union reports gains in member-
ship, and the new members are as
loyal as can be found in any county
in the state. Two addresses were
made during the day. The first speaker
was Senator Franklin, who made an
interesting and instructive talk during
the morning session; also President
West entertained the crowd during the
afternoon with suggestions along co-
operative lines. We can truly say of
Johnson county that they are coming
rapidly to the front.
BARBECUE AND PICNIC.
There will be a barbecue and nicnic
given by the members of the F. 13. and
C, r. of a. of that place, about 5H
miles northeast of Belzoni, Okla., on
June 30, 1908. There will be speaking
by some of our best union lecturers,
and a grand time is expected. By order
of committee.
