Holiday Party
December Event
For Delta Zeta
Annual Christmas party of
Delta Zeta chapter, ESA, was
held Wednesday night with Mrs.
Wesley Whittlesey, 614 S. Inde-
pendence. Co.hostess was Mrs.
Pauline Stainbrook.
Outdoor lights and indoor de-
corations gave a festive atmo-
sphere to the home. A lovely
tree was strung with decoralions
in the living room and provided
a place for gifts brought by the
members to exchange during
the evening. Members also
brought gifts for residents at the
orphans home at Pryor, to be
delivered to the home during
the Christmas season.
Trays of dips and hors d'mir-
vres were conveniently placed
throughout the receiving suite,
together with plates of candy
and holiday cookies.
Mrs Delmar Sharp acted as
Santa Claus to distribute gifts
to Mrs. Earle Berryhill, Mrs.
Estelle Beveridge. Mrs. Harold

The meting opened with read-
ing of the Christmas story and
devotionals by Mrs. Paul Clin-
ton.
At a short business session it
was reported the club won first
on its secretary book for 1966
Two members had perfect at-
tendance records for the year
Enrollment sheets for 1967 were
filled out and names for secret
pals drawn.
Two birthdays were recogniz-
ed with gifts. Honorees were

Women of North Heights
Baptist church held daily meet-
ings during the week in ob-
aervance of the week of prayer
for foreign missions.
Mrs. Emma Rea Bishop had
charge of the program Monday,
Mrs. Orville Dobson was in
charge Tuesday and on Wednes-
day a night meeting was held
with Girls Auxiliary. Royal
Ambassadors and Sunbeams
all participating. Mrs. Jerry
Tifft was program leader.

Club Has Annual
Christmas Party
Among club Christmas par-
ties of the week, was Stitch and
Chat club's dinner held at Royal
Cafe. Afterwards the annual
party and gift exchange in the
home of Mrs. Bill Terry, 224
W Dewey, completed the fest-
ivities. Beautiful decorations of
the season provided the party
setting.
Games were conducted with
Mrs. Cora Martin, Mrs Nola
Saner and Mrs. Gertrude Boy-
kin winning prizes. Members
and guests found hidden Christ-

party of Athena Club. The party
was held Thursday night.

informal social hour and mem-
bers drew secret pal names for
the coming year.
